Market signal

Established category; local demand unproven

Paid products support the category. This demonstration has no verified local pilot, payment, or retention data.

Biggest opportunity

A narrow WhatsApp-to-calendar workflow with hands-on local onboarding may reach salons that find full suites too heavy.

Biggest concern

A small salon can keep using WhatsApp and a diary for free, while established products already serve salons that want software. Unless this product proves a faster local workflow and a measurable result, there is no reason for it to exist.

SalonFlow addresses a frequent and visible problem: missed appointments and scattered booking records. Existing salon software shows that businesses pay for scheduling, but it does not prove that independent salon owners with 2–10 staff will adopt another tool or pay enough for this one. The best first market is a tight group of owner-operated salons in Lagos that already take bookings on WhatsApp. Do not fund a full app yet. First prove that ten salons will run their real diary through a manual concierge version for four weeks and that at least five will pay to continue.
